MicroChem Corp (MCC) is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company founded in 1992 and located in Newton, MA. MCC employs 45 people in a 30,000 square foot facility. It develops, manufactures and markets specialty materials for niche & emerging microelectronic and MEMS markets.

MCC is focused on providing innovative material and process solutions for its customers that aren’t properly served by the larger, mainstream suppliers. Its technical competencies include lab scale synthesis of polymers, photochemicals and dyes leading to design, development and optimization of formulated products. In addition it offers customers product applications development, lithographic process characterization and process engineering support.

The markets served by MCC include, but are not limited to; MEMS, information technology and compound semiconductors. MCC's products can be found in production processes used to manufacture optical and opto electronic devices, GMR heads, ink jets, optical discs, telecom devices, sensors, actuators, and devices for microfluidics and bioMEMS.

Its products include PMGI and LOR resists for bi layer optical lift off applications; PMMA and copolymer resists for direct e-beam write and lift off applications; SU-8,

SU-8 2000, SU-8 3000 and KMPR for thick film processing. Microchem also manufacture ancillary products and custom formulations. In addition, we are the North American distributor for Rohm & Haas Electronic Materials, DuPont Advanced Engineering Laminates and Micro Resist Technology.

MCC has warehousing facilities on both the east and west coast of the United States and is supported by a world wide network of representatives across Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim.
