Lighthouse video screens feature Cree LEDs

Lighthouse Technologies of Irvine, CA, USA says that its video screen products are built with American-brand LEDs from Cree Inc of Durham, NC, USA, and have a significantly higher percentage of US-originated materials than its competitors. According to the firm, 65% or more of its product components are sourced from US-based companies.

"By teaming with Cree, not only do we offer a better product than our competitors at a better price, we offer a more American product than our competitors. It's a compelling reason for facilities to go with Lighthouse," said Ed Whitaker, Lighthouse NASA director of sales.

Lighthouse and Cree have worked together on installations such as the American Airlines Center, Long Island Ducks, and the Southern Illinois Salukis. In the near future, the firms will collaborate to provide LED video systems to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee and the Matthew Knight Arena at the University of Oregon.

"The value of having American-based Cree on our team is significant," added Whitaker. "Their expertise is undisputed. And their innovation places our LED video screens on the cutting-edge of what is available and what is possible for every kind of venue."
