M/A-COM Tech showcases new CATV and broadband products at ANGA Cable 2012
At the ANGA Cable Show 2012 trade fair for cable, broadband and satellite in Cologne, Germany (12-14 June), M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc of Lowell, MA, USA (which makes analog semiconductors, components and subassemblies for RF, microwave and millimeter-wave applications) is showcasing a broad portfolio of new products for cable TV and broadband applications.
Product solutions on display include:
- new FTTx and optical node variable gain amplifiers (VGAs);
- EDGE QAM (quadrature amplitude modulation) head-end integrated solutions;
- DPON (DOCSIS over Passive Optical Network) and EDGE QAM (EQAM) voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), amplifiers, baluns, and step attenuators; and
- MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) front-end ICs, filters, active splitters, and passive devices.
