Riber sells research MBE reactor to Russian institute
Riber S.A. of Bezons, France, which manufactures molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and effusion cells, has announced the sale of an Epineat MBE reactor to a research institute based in Russia.
For delivery in 2012, the system will enhance the laboratory's capacities in III-V component research.
Riber claims that its Epineat system represents the most effective solution for basic research of compound semiconductor materials on 4-inch substrates. The firm reckons that the new order confirms its reputation among the scientific community in Russia, where the semiconductor industry is booming.
