Custom MMIC launches 4-10GHz GaAs driver amplifier offering high output and low current consumption
Custom MMIC of Westford, MA, USA has added the CMD191C4 to its growing monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) library of standard products.
Offering high output power and low current consumption, the CMD191C4 is a GaAs MMIC driver amplifier housed in a leadless, RoHs-compliant, 4mm x 4mm surface-mount package.
Suited to complex communications systems where small size and high linearity are needed, the device operates at 4-10GHz and delivers 20dB of gain with a corresponding output 1dB compression point (P1dB) of more than +21dBm. As a 50 ohm matched design, it eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching.
The CMD191C4 is biased with a single 5.0V positive drain supply. RF power can be applied at any time.
Suitable applications include WiLAN, C- and X-band communications systems, and military end-use.
