GigOptix showcasing RF MMICs and E-band products at IMS
In booth #409 at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS 2014) in Tampa Bay, FL (3-5 June), GigOptix Inc of San Jose, CA, USA (a fabless supplier of analog semiconductor and optical communications components for fiber-optic and wireless networks) is showcasing several RF MMICs and E-band products, including the following.
- the EWH2001 DC-20GHz power amplifier MMIC;
- the EXP8602 and EXP8603 81-86GHz high E-band power amplifiers;
- the EXP7602 and EXP7603 71-76GHz low E-band power amplifiers;
- the EXE8602 71-86GHz broadband power detector; and
- the iT2008 DC-26.5GHz power amplifier and iT2009 2-26.5GHz power amplifier.
Other E-band products include the EXO8602ZZ Lange coupler.
GigOptix has also developed highly integrated silicon-germanium (SiGe) transmitter and receiver chipsets: the low E-band transmitter (EXU7610) and receiver (EXD7610) and the high E-band transmitter (EXU8610) and receiver (EXD8610). These SiGe transmitter and receiver chips are expected to be available for sampling in late 2014.
When the EXP7602/3 and EXU7610 are combined, they provide a two-chip low E-band transmitter solution. When the EXP8602/3 and EXU8610 are combined, they provide a two-chip high E-band transmitter solution.
