Phoseon boosts peak irradiance for air-cooled UV LED curing in space-limited environments
Phoseon Technology of Hillsboro, OR, USA has introduced a higher-power FireJet FJ100 UV LED curing light source to help address the challenges for space-limited environments where water cooling is prohibitive.
The FJ100 air-cooled UV light sources are available in 395nm and 385nm with 8W/cm2 peak intensity. The UV curing systems come in multiple curing lengths (75mm, 150mm, and 225mm), all with a 20mm-wide curing window and are suitable for wide-format printing, electronics manufacturing and assembly applications where small form factor, air cooling and high peak irradiance is vital.
"The FJ100 air-cooled products are quiet and easily integrate into low-noise environments where water cooling is prohibitive," says product marketing manager Joe Becker. "These products scale end-to-end to provide greater flexibility and service options."
Phoseon also has expanded its FirePower FP300 water-cooled UV light sources with 12W/cm2 peak irradiance at 365nm wavelength. The products are suitable for curing adhesives, coatings and inks where 365nm is the specified wavelength. The high peak intensity increases application performance and throughput.
"Customers are asking for higher performance at 365nm wavelength," says product marketing manager Joe Becker. "These high-power, water-cooled light sources provide the highest irradiance for a wide variety of applications."
