Riber receives order for MBE production system
Riber S.A. of Bezons, France, which manufactures molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and effusion cells, has received an order from Asia for a MBE49 multi-wafer production system.
The MBE49 system can produce epitaxial wafers with a very high performance level, Riber says, and is particularly suitable for the manufacture of microelectronic and optoelectronic devices.
The fully automated machine can be operated continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with rates of uninterrupted use of more than 10 months and a high level of reliability, it is claimed.
The order, which is scheduled to be delivered before the end of 2016, confirms the upturn in Riber's order book, the firm says.
