Custom MMIC launches 4-8GHz broadband GaAs MMIC frequency doubler

Monolithic microwave integrated circuit developer Custom MMIC of Westford, MA, USA has launched the CMD225C3 gallium arsenide (GaAs) MMIC frequency doubler.

The CMD225C3 operates with an input frequency range of 4-8GHz. The passive frequency doubler can be driven with a +15dBm input signal with a low conversion loss of 13dB, and Fo and 3Fo isolations of at least 47dBc. The CMD225C3 is a 50 ohm matched design to eliminate the need for RF port matching.

The frequency doubler comes in a Pb-free RoHs-compliant 3mm x 3mm surface-mount package and is suitable for low-phase-noise frequency synthesizers and local oscillators.
