Next Generation Optical Networking (NGON) & DCI World 2019 at the Nice Acropolis Convention Center, France (21–23 May) addresses topics in optical communications including capacity increase, disaggregation and transport SDN strategies, data-center inter- and intra-connect discussions, subsea cable architecture, and what the advent of 5G will mean for the optical network. Lumentum is showcasing advanced solutions for the optical communications and datacom industry and participating in speaking engagements, including Scott Swail (business development, Telecom Transmission) acting as a panellist for ‘An Adaptive Network I Strategies to Deliver Coherent Transmission’ on 21 May and as a speaker for ‘The Role of DCO in Overcoming Bandwidth and Reach Limitations’ on 22 May.
Advanced Laser Applications Workshop (ALAW 2019) at The Inn at St. John’s, Plymouth, MI, USA (4–6 June) focuses on laser materials processing technologies including cutting, welding and additive manufacturing. Lumentum is showcasing next-generation high-power fiber lasers.
LASER World of PHOTONICS 2019 at the Messe München (Hall A2, Stand: #318) in Munich, Germany (24–27 June). Lumentum is featuring a broad range of laser solutions for the materials processing and 3D sensing markets.
