MACOM launches wideband amplifier covering 30kHz to 40GHz for instrumentation and communications applications

MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc of Lowell, MA, USA (which makes semiconductors, components and subassemblies for RF, microwave, millimeter-wave and lightwave applications) has launched a wideband distributed amplifier supporting operation from 30kHz up to 40GHz with typical gain of 15dB, and input and output fully matched at 50Ω with typical return loss of 13dB across the band.

Offered as a bare-die, the MAAM-011275-DIE is suitable for use in test & measurement (T&M) and communications equipment with broadband frequency coverage from sub-6GHz to mmW.

Available now, the MAAM-011275-DIE adds to MACOM’s portfolio of wideband amplifier solutions.

MACOM is showcasing its RF portfolio in booth #532 at the IEEE’s International Microwave Symposium (IMS 2019) in Boston, MA, USA (4–6 June), where the firm’s booth features new products optimized for 5G, wireless basestations, radar, T&M and industrial, scientific & medical (ISM) applications.
