Cornes Dodwell to distribute Intense's laser products in Japan
Intense Ltd of Glasgow, UK, a provider of single and multimode monolithic laser array products and high power laser diodes, has signed a distribution agreement with Cornes Dodwell.
Under the agreement, Japan-based Cornes Dodwell will distribute Intense's high power laser diodes and individually addressable laser arrays to manufacturers of electro-optical components in Japan.
Scott Christie, CEO of Intense, said: "The Pacific Rim represents a significant opportunity for Intense, and Cornes Dodwell shares our philosophy of creating advanced, customized solutions for clients."
Cornes Dodwell’s president, Kunio Udeo, added: "Intense's patented innovations in Quantum Well Intermixing (QWI) and Asymmetric Waveguides (AW) generate exceptional laser power, brightness, and reliability, providing Cornes Dodwell with a significant market advantage.”
