Cree launches solutions provider program

LED maker Cree Inc of Durham, NC, USA has announced a new value-added Cree Solutions Providers network to offer customers a full range of LED lighting-system solutions and design assistance. The aim is to help accelerate time-to-market and reduce product development costs.

Cree says that it will work closely with network members to help ensure alignment of technologies. Members are chosen on the basis of their history of collaborating successfully with customers, says the firm. Services provided from within the network include: design consulting; customized design; LED engines; turn-key solutions; sub-assembly; and complete assembly.

“Cree Solutions Providers represent a select group of value-added solutions providers who can help accelerate the time-to-market of high-quality LED lighting systems based on Cree XLamp LEDs,” says Bob Pollock, senior VP of sales. “The rapidly increasing demand for high-performance LED lighting systems presents a huge potential sales opportunity for those who deliver quality fixtures to market quickly.” The program is designed to help customers address this opportunity, he adds.

Cree Solutions Providers currently include: BAFA/Zerolight; CRS; Entity; Heatron; I2 Systems; Innovative Electronic Solutions; Illumination Optics; Infinilux; LED Lighting Supply; LED Specialists; Marktech; Optoelectronix; Relume; and Forge Europa Visible Solutions.
