Skyworks launching front-end module for smart city applications
Skyworks Solutions Inc of Woburn, MA, USA (which manufactures analog and mixed-signal semiconductors) is to introduce the SKY66121-11, a high-efficiency, high-performance transmit/receive front-end module (FEM) that provides greater than four times range extension.
The device features low power consumption and enables fast switch timing in a compact 4mm x 4mm package.
The SKY66121-11 is suitable for Internet of Things (IoT) applications including smart metering, connected home, smart city sensors, and industrial, scientific & medical (ISM).
