First Solar completes sale of 141MW Luz del Norte power plant to asset manager Toesca
First Solar Inc of Tempe, AZ, USA – which makes thin-film photovoltaic modules based on cadmium telluride (CdTe) as well as providing engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) services – has completed the sale of Luz del Norte (a 141MWAC utility-scale solar power plant in Copiapó) to independent asset manager Toesca of Las Condes, Chile.
First Solar previously disclosed that it had signed a sale and purchase agreement for the facility on its third-quarter 2022 earnings call. The terms of the transaction, which was completed in December, were not disclosed.
