Lumentum announces speaker lineup at OCP Global Summit
Lumentum Holdings Inc of San Jose, CA, USA (which designs and makes optical and photonic products for optical networks and lasers) has announced its speaker lineup for the 2026 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, themed ‘Scaling Innovation for the AI Era’ at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center (12–15 October).
Taking place in SJCC Concourse Level 210AE, the presentations are as follows:
- 14 October (1:10–1:25pm): ‘External Laser Source Architectures for Deployable CPO-Based AI Networks’ by Christian Urricariet, senior director, product and strategic marketing;
- 14 October (1:50–2:15pm): ‘Panel: Slow and Wide 12.8T VCSEL Solutions’ by Oleg Shchekin, head of high-density interconnect;
- 15 October (8:45–9:05am): ‘Zero-Touch OCS Fabrics for AI Scale-Out Infrastructure at Hyperscale’, joint presentation led by Kannan Raj, architect at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with Michael DeMerchant, Lumentum’s senior director, product line management, OCS.
